Hello

Toronto-based cosplayer, community marketing professional and fandom studies scholar focusing on cosplay and IP-based merchandise

Costuming

A long-time costuming enthusist, I've spent the last 10 years teaching myself the art of cosplay. Focused on textile-based practices, I've recently started competing on a local level.

Marketing Work

I'm a marketing professional with a background in arts and culture, specializing in digital strategy, content creation, and community engagement. At the Textile Museum of Canada, I led social media, revamped the website, and launched an online shop—boosting traffic and sales. I love combining creativity with data to connect with audiences in meaningful ways.

Academic Work

I’m currently pursuing a Master’s in Communication and Culture at Toronto Metropolitan and York University, where my research focuses on fan communities, cosplay, and craft-based practices like textile art. I’m especially interested in how fandom intersects with marketing, identity, and digital culture—basically, how people build creative worlds together and what that means for media and brands.
